ArrivalWe arrive, set up camp and meet one another. The gathering opens at dusk.
In the timeless verses of Homer’s Iliad, Imbros is whispered as the sacred sanctuary where the deep, rumbling seas hold ancient secrets. Beneath its shores lay the hidden caverns of Poseidon, a realm where the raw forces of nature rested. But the true heart of the island belonged to the “Megaloi Theoi”—the Great Gods—and the ancient gatherings of the “Mystai.”
The Mystai were not mere spectators; they were the initiates, the seekers, and the keepers of the mystery. Their gatherings were entirely self-sustained, protected from the corruption of commercial trade, powered solely by the shared faith, energy, and collective devotion of the community.
Roksado is the awakening of this ancient blueprint.
We are not a conventional music festival backed by corporate sponsors. We are a decentralized, community-funded (crowdfunded) modern gathering of the new Mystai. Just like the ancients who gathered on these wind-swept shores of Imbros, our structure is entirely co-created and sustained by you—the collective. By pooling our energy, our resources, and our passion, we ensure that our feet remain firmly on the ground while our minds touch the cosmic.
You are not buying a ticket to a show; you are initiating a movement. You are the Mystai. The gathering manifests through you.
The full programme will be shared here as it is co-created. This is the shape of the weekend.
We arrive, set up camp and meet one another. The gathering opens at dusk.
The heart of the weekend: music, shared work and play from morning into the night.
A slow morning, a last meal together, and leaving the island lighter than we came.
The line-up is co-created with the community. Names and the day-by-day schedule will be announced here.
You are not buying a ticket to a show. You are joining the Mystai and helping fund the gathering together. Tickets and crowdfunding details open on this page soon.
